ROLE As a Store Director, you will be responsible for promoting brand engagement and loyalty to customers, in particular by building strong relationships with top clients, in order to drive business and meet the store goals. ABOUT SAINT LAURENT

Founded in 1961, Yves Saint Laurent was the first couture house to introduce the concept of luxury prêt-à-porter in a 1966 collection called ‘Rive Gauche’, synonymous with youth and freedom. This shift represented a first critical step in the modernization of fashion and revolutionized the socio-cultural landscape.

Your opportunityThe Retail Operations Manager plays a critical role in driving operational excellence across the retail network, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and scalability of store operations. This role partners closely with HQ and cross-functional teams to enable business performance, strengthen operational discipline, and elevate the overall client experience.How you will contributeRetail Operations &amp; Network Performance<ul><li>Lead the execution and continuous improvement of retail operating standards, ensuring consistency, compliance, and efficiency across all locations</li><li>Conduct regular store visits to assess performance, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions</li><li>Maintain and evolve the Store Operations Manual in partnership with HQ</li><li>Act as escalation point for store operational issues, ensuring timely resolution and business continuity</li><li>Establish and reinforce best-in-class back-of-house standards and ways of working</li></ul>Client Experience, Training &amp; Field Partnership<ul><li>Ensure retail operations support and enhance the end-to-end client experience</li><li>Oversee after-sales processes (repairs, alterations, shipments) to ensure seamless execution</li><li>Own onboarding strategy and deliver operational training to retail teams, driving consistent adoption of processes and standards</li><li>Lead communication and rollout of new policies, tools, and processes across the network</li><li>Partner closely with Store Managers as a trusted advisor, providing hands-on support and identifying opportunities to improve performance and client experience</li></ul>Systems, Inventory &amp; Operational Control<ul><li>Own POS ecosystem (XStore, SAP), ensuring system reliability and effective use of data to drive decision-making</li><li>Analyze operational and sales data to monitor performance, ensure accuracy, and strengthen operational discipline</li><li>Oversee inventory operations end-to-end, including cycle counts, physical inventories, and discrepancy resolution</li><li>Manage inventory flow across retail, wholesale, and bespoke operations</li></ul>Logistics, Facilities &amp; Vendor Management<ul><li>Oversee logistics operations, ensuring efficient, cost-effective movement of goods and strong carrier performance</li><li>Support seamless execution of client shipments and oversee store supplies and packaging distribution</li><li>Manage store facilities and maintenance, ensuring operational readiness and alignment with brand standards</li><li>Lead store openings, renovations, and closures in partnership with HQ</li><li>Manage vendor relationships, ensuring service quality, accountability, and cost effectiveness</li></ul>Cost, Compliance &amp; Governance<ul><li>Own operational cost control and partner with Finance to monitor budgets and drive efficiency</li><li>Serve as liaison with Internal Audit and Loss Prevention, ensuring adherence to policies and mitigating risk</li><li>Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including permits, health &amp; safety, and fire safety standards</li><li>Provide guidance and best practices to store teams on compliance and operational controls</li></ul>Requirements &amp; Qualifications<ul><li>5&#43; years of experience in retail operations within a luxury or multi-unit environment.</li><li>Strong understanding of POS systems (XStore, SAP) and retail operational processes.</li><li>Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.</li><li>Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and execute projects end-to-end.</li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Effective communicator with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.</li><li>Experience managing vendors and driving operational efficiency.</li><li>Demonstrates a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to operational excellence and client experience</li></ul>Additional Requirements<ul><li>Ability to travel up to 30% support retail operations and store network needs.</li><li>Flexibility to support key retail periods and inventory cycles.</li></ul>Salary Range: $80,000-$90,000 per yearWhy work with us?This is a fabulous opportunity to join the Brioni adventure and to actively contribute to the development of the business by becoming part of a thriving Atelier in a global Luxury Group that offers endless possibilities to learn and grow.Talent development is a managerial principle at Kering and we are committed to fostering internal mobility.
