Today it continues to uphold the vision of the House through boundary-pushing collections including women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, accessories, and objets d’art. The brand’s unprecedented interactions with the expanding digital realm, material developments, and today’s social responsibilities keep it at the forefront of modernity.

In 2021, Balenciaga’s 50th Couture collection—the House’s first since its founder retired in 1968 – reintroduces a standard of cutting-edge elegance. 

From October 2015 to July 2025, Demna designed both men’s and women’s collections as the Artistic Director.

In July 2025, Pierpaolo Piccioli was appointed Creative Director of Balenciaga.

We are currently seeking an E-Commerce Intern who will report to our E-Commerce Account Manager.

YOUR OPPORTUNITYThis opportunity will provide you with insight into the NY luxury fashion industry as well as an understanding of our corporate culture and business practices.HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE<ul><li>Assisting the Retail Buyers with the following tasks:<ul><li>Reporting analysis</li><li>Corrective actions on stock allocations, transfers</li><li>Pricing follow up</li><li>Competitive study (offer, price mapping)</li><li>Miscellaneous seasonal projects</li></ul></li><li>Preparation of training guidelines/tools for retail stores</li><li>Compile Seasonal Buy Books</li><li>Assist with weekly selling reports and analysis</li><li>Organize and prepare seasonal product recaps</li><li>Administrative support duties</li></ul>WHO YOU ARE<ul><li>Merchandising experience is preferred</li><li>Detail oriented and task driven</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel</li><li>Comfortable with numbers and recaps</li><li>Problem solver</li><li>Strong time management and organizational skills</li><li>Able to receive academic credit</li></ul>COMPENSATION<ul><li>$16.50 per hour &#43; academic credit</li><li>Must be able to receive academic credit to be eligible </li></ul>WHY WORK WITH US?  This is an exciting opportunity to join Balenciaga’s Corporate team as an intern who will drive the business and contribute to the brand philosophy.
