About us
Founded by Spanish-born Cristóbal Balenciaga in 1917 and established in Paris in 1937, the original House of Balenciaga defined modern couture with its many innovations to form and technique.
 
Today it continues to uphold the vision of the House through boundary-pushing collections including women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, accessories, and objets d’art. The brand’s unprecedented interactions with the expanding digital realm, material developments, and today’s social responsibilities keep it at the forefront of modernity.
 
In 2021, Balenciaga’s 50th Couture collection—the House’s first since its founder retired in 1968 – reintroduces a standard of cutting-edge elegance. 
 
From October 2015 to July 2025, Demna designed both men’s and women’s collections as the Artistic Director.

In July 2025, Pierpaolo Piccioli was appointed Creative Director of Balenciaga.

About us
발렌시아가 하우스는 1917년 스페인 출신의 크리스토발 발렌시아가에 의해 설립되었습니다. 1937년 파리에 첫 부티크를 오픈한 이래 1968년까지 그 곳에서 컬렉션 디자인을 전개하였습니다. 당시 크리스토발 발렌시아가는 본인 만의 확고한 기준을 가진 쿠튀리어(디자이너)로서 명성을 떨쳤고, 크리스찬 디올은 "우리 모두의 달인"으로, 가브리엘 샤넬은 " 쿠튀리어 중의 쿠튀리어"로 그를 지칭했습니다. 초현대적인 옷의 형태는 하우스의 트레이드마크가 되었습니다.
브랜드의 정체성은 개념적인 프레타포르테 (기성복) 컬렉션에 확고히 뿌리를 내린 가운데, 가죽 제품, 신발, 액세서리 또한 전 세계적으로 큰 인기를 얻었습니다. 하우스의 전형적인 제품들 중에는 핸드백 컬렉션이 있으며, 남성 기성복 컬렉션 개발에 새로운 초점을 맞추면서 이 역시 빠르게 성공을 거두게 되었습니다.
발렌시아가 하우스는 2001년 케어링 그룹에 소속이 되었으며, 패션계에서 가장 영향력 있는 브랜드 중 하나로 자리매김하게 되었습니다.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE<ul><li>Ensure the achievement of individual sales and store goals, enhancing and developing the business</li><li>Provide an exceptional customer service experience and demonstrate a strong knowledge of the products as well as Balenciaga history and message in accordance with Balenciaga’s client journey</li><li>Maintain an active, accurate, and organized client book with meaningful data you have captured, contact clients regularly and provide appropriate follow-up on all sales or client requests</li><li>Procure information about current trends and fashion history and weave into selling ceremony to discuss with clients and provide advice</li><li>Participate in a team environment; foster open and constructive communication with team members, being always collaborative and proposing effective solutions</li><li>Contribute to the execution of daily operational tasks per company directives</li></ul>WHO YOU ARE<ul><li>3&#43; years of experience in a similar role, preferably within other retail or fashion companies</li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment through excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)</li><li>Proven ability to drive results in a selling role, exceeding individual and store goals</li><li>Commercial awareness and strong business acumen through a genuine passion for the fashion industry</li><li>Strategic vision in order to develop the business and high level of personal performance</li></ul>COMPENSATIONFor individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York, BALENCIAGA includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications. The Balenciaga Temporary Sales Associate is responsible for providing our customers with top quality service by meeting their individual needs and expectations. This person will serve as a brand expert, promoting both the philosophy and values of Balenciaga.

D’octobre 2015 à juillet 2025, Demna a conçu les collections féminines et masculines en tant que directeur artistique. 
En juillet 2025, Pierpaolo Piccioli a été nommé directeur de la création de Balenciaga.
