Discover the Group’s GHG emissions.
Kering’s greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions are calculated according to the GHG Protocol standard.
The Group’s carbon footprint in 2025 totaled 1,860,845 tons of CO2 equivalent (tCO₂e) (Scopes 1, 2 and 3), including 41,802 tons from energy use (Scopes 1 and 2) and 1,819,043 tons from upstream and downstream activities (Scope 3). Operations under Kering’s direct control (Scopes 1 and 2) therefore account for around 2% of the Group’s total carbon footprint.
54.6% absolute reduction by 2033
Scopes 1 & 2 (tCO2e)
39.4% absolute reduction by 2033
Scope 3 FLAG (tCO2e)
54.6% absolute reduction by 2033
Scope 3 excluding FLAG (tCO2e)
After announcing in 2023 that it was targeting a 40% absolute reduction in its GHG emissions in 2035 compared to 2021, the Group updated its climate trajectory in 2024 in alignment with the Net-Zero Standard of the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). The above targets are part of Kering's Net Zero trajectory and were certified by the SBTi on October 31, 2024.
Scope 1 and 2 CO₂ emissions decreased by 4% in 2025 versus 2024.
Scope 3 CO₂ emissions decreased by 14% in 2025 versus 2024, mainly led by the 10% decrease in emissions relating to purchased goods and services (Category 1 according to GHG Protocol).
