As Commis De Cuisine you will support Gucci Osteria Chef De Partie in all the preparations.
Key Accountabilities
- Preparation of meal ingredients;
- Accurately measuring meal ingredients;
- Receiving deliveries and verifying that all ordered items have been delivered and are of good quality;
- Taking inventory of the restaurant's supplies and notifying the supervisor of low or exhausted stocks
- Discarding all expired and spoiled food stored in warehouses, refrigerators, and freezers
- Carrying out basic cleaning activities and ensuring that workstations are properly sanitized
- Plating and presenting meals according to the instructions
Job Requirements
- Must have experience in Italian Cuisine/International Cusine
- Must have worked at least 2 years, preferably within gourmet restaurants or in overall modern and creative cuisine style
- Additional international experience and achievements is a plus
- Consistency of the delivery of product
- Must have a deep and clear understanding of food history, tradition, culture
