Job Family Description -After Sales and Customer Service: Responds promptly to customer inquiries, with in-depth knowledge of products, services and processes. Communicates with customers through various channels. Keeps records of customer interactions, transactions, comments and complaints in order to improve customer service efficiency and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Sub-Job Family Description - Customer Service: Serves as the first point of contact between sales, supply chain/logistics and manufacturing staff in order to deliver seamless customer service.

    Your opportunity

    As an Allocation & Shipping Planner, you will be a key member of the Customer Service team, focusing on efficiently managing the allocation of products received from production. You will follow the Supply Chain and business guidelines to ensure alignment with stakeholder requirements and coordinate shipments to ensure timely distribution. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the planning and execution of shipments for a globally recognised luxury brand.

    How will you contribute?

    • Manage Product Allocation & Distribution – Oversee the efficient allocation and distribution of products, and ensuring timely store replenishment, using our internal allocation and shipment tools.
    • Plan Shipments – Coordinate the shipment of products from the central warehouse to various regions and indirect customers (wholesalers), ensuring all business and customer service needs are met.
    • Ship to Direct & Indirect Customers – Assign, value, and ship products to Directly Operated Stores (DOS) and wholesale clients, ensuring accurate processing and timely delivery.
    • Monitor Orders for Accuracy – Proactively monitor orders entering the system to identify and prevent errors before order release.
    • Collaborate on Delivery Targets – Work with the Brand Supply Chain team to define delivery targets and ensure alignment with business needs.
    • Handle Special Shipments – Plan and manage the shipping for special product launches, ensuring urgent shipments are processed efficiently.
    • Create Picking Lists – Provide the warehouse team with picking lists that align with distribution rules, logistics requirements, and compliance with customs and tax regulations.
    • Serve as Warehouse Operations Liaison – Act as the main point of contact between the Customer Service team and Warehouse operations, ensuring smooth communication and issue resolution.
    • Coordinate Volumes & Distribution – Collaborate with the Distribution Planning and Warehouse teams to identify expected shipment volumes and ensure capacity aligns with operational needs.
    • System & Technical Support – Serve as the go-to person for the order and inventory management tools, collaborating with system and technical teams to troubleshoot and enhance performance.

    Required Skills:

    • You will be able to demonstrate the desired Alexander McQueen behaviours.
    • Experienced in Allocation & Shipping Planning – At least 3 years of experience in supply chain planning or customer service, ideally in the fashion or luxury industry.
    • Tech-Savvy & Data-Driven – Expertise in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; familiarity with AS400 and SAP is a plus.
    • Supply Chain Knowledge – A solid understanding of supply chain processes and replenishment logic, ensuring smooth operations.
    • Detail-Oriented & Accurate – An excellent communicator with a strong eye for detail and a commitment to high accuracy in all tasks.
    • Flexible & Proactive – A proactive problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and can adapt to changing priorities.
    • Independent & Team-Oriented – Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and contribute to a team environment under pressure.
    • Fluent in English & Italian – Both written and spoken
