We are currently seeking a Store Director who will report to the Retail Director. 

YOUR OPPORTUNITY 

The Store Director is a professional in the fashion industry who is responsible for promoting brand engagement and loyalty to clients, in particular VICs and VVICs, in order to guarantee store business goals.

They are accountable for sustaining the brand image, achieving sales and KPIs goals, managing the store team, recruiting, retaining and developing clients, and guarantees compliance with all processes and guidelines set by the HQ/HO in order to bring the store to its full potential.

They are accountable for being the Balenciaga benchmark (excellent standards) in his/her Region/Country.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTEGENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>Achieve sales goals</li><li>Opening and closing of the store</li><li>Ensure stockroom is organized and is set up properly so staff can easily access merchandise</li><li>Assist management in overseeing day-to-day operations of store</li><li>Work towards balanced strengths in sales, operations, merchandising and personnel management</li><li>Maintain great interpersonal skills to ensure clear, effective communication with all Departments, stores, colleagues and staff</li><li>Ensure that Customer complaints and feedback are handled appropriately and in a timely manner</li><li>Support, follow, implement and enforce store operations manual at all times and provide feedback on any updates/changes that might become necessary</li><li>Enforce all sustainability policies that are implemented by the company both locally and globally</li></ul>STOCK, INVENTORY &amp; LOSS PREVENTION MANAGEMENT<ul><li>Ensure store shrinkage by partnering with the Stock Associate / Operations Manager / Sales Team through sound operational execution</li><li>Cash Registers &amp; Safe: Ensure that the registers and safe are functioning properly and enforce back of house standards for cash/change accuracy along with timely bank deposits</li></ul>VISUAL MANAGEMENT<ul><li>Assist with implementation of visual display and merchandising as directed by the SM/Direct Report according to company’s standards</li><li>Ensure that all company information related to visual standards, received from Store. About us
Cristóbal Balenciaga founded the House in 1917 in his home of Spain. In 1937, he established the brand in Paris, designing its collections there until 1968. Cristóbal Balenciaga had a reputation as a couturier of uncompromising standards and was referred to as "the master of us all" by Christian Dior and as “The Couturier of the Couturiers” by Gabrielle Chanel. The ultra-modern shapes were trademarks of the house.
While the brand’s identity is firmly rooted in its highly conceptual prêt-à-porter collections, its leather goods, footwear, and accessories experience worldwide success as well. Among the archetypal products of the House are its handbag collections. A new focus on the development of Balenciaga ready-to-wear collections for men was quickly established as highly successful.
Since October 2015, Demna has designed both men’s and women’s collections as the artistic director.
The Balenciaga House, part of the Kering group since 2001, is one of the most influential names in fashion.
