    We are currently seeking a Brand Manager who will report to the Vice President of Wholesale & Concession as part of our dynamic team in New York at our Bergdorf Goodman door, on 5th Avenue.

    Your opportunity

    The Brand Manager will Support the U.S. Wholesale department by driving sales & brand elevation within our 5th Avenue Bergdorf Goodman door across multiple categories including Men’s and Women’s RTW, Leather Goods, and Shoes. They will serve as a liaison and ambassador between our corporate Wholesale division and the Bergdorf Goodman retail and buying teams, by cultivating a strong brand presence at Bergdorf Goodman and maximizing productivity.

    How you will contribute

    • Consistently achieve seasonal and monthly sales plans and regular price sell through goals
    • Partner with Selling Management to ensure selling goals and service expectations are met at all times
    • Serve as primary point of contact and partner for brand DSAs
    • Build strategic partnerships with personal shoppers and top stylists throughout Bergdorf Goodman’s team
    • Develop and execute regular product and selling training for BG sellers, in addition to daily morning meetings with selling team & DSAs
    • Build a calendar of selling moments & brand focuses. Plan, execute and lead all selling events.
    • Analyze customer base and apply clienteling guidelines to foster client relationships and loyalty
    • Increase cross-selling and purchase frequency with existing customers
    • Collaborate with Wholesale Account Management on selection and coordination of seasonal buys by providing consistent feedback with the support of sales data
    • Enhance in-season orders by monitoring seasonal reorder opportunities and permanent stock levels
    • Provide weekly recaps to Zone CEO, Wholesale & Concession VP, and Account Management with insights on competitive activity, sales results, weekly initiatives, future strategies, and general market feedback
    • Support Bottega Veneta and Bergdorf Goodman Visual teams in their strategy by ensuring the sales floor reflects current brand standards, key investments, and business trends, as designated by Bottega Veneta and Bergdorf Goodman merchants
    • Perform projects and assignments as needed/directed by Manager including the fulfillment of all market orders

    Who you are

    • Minimum 5 years previous luxury retail experience (leadership + sales)
    • Proven ability to thrive in a goal-driven environment including achieving and exceeding financial targets
    • Secure working autonomously and independent of a large team
    • Exhibit a strong work ethic, leadership skills, high energy level, and detail/team oriented
    • Possess exemplary verbal and written communication skills
    • Experience building top clients
    • Ability to problem solve in a self-sufficient, resourceful manner resulting in creative solutions
    • Working knowledge of foreign languages a plus
    • Availability to work a flexible schedule and weekends as needed

    New York Salary Range:

    Annual base salary range of $110,000 - $115,000 (plus discretionary bonus)
