    We are currently seeking for a dynamic and results-driven Associate Merchandising Manager, Women’s Handbags and Fine Jewelry, with focus on MTO, Special Orders and High-end business development who will report to the Women’s Handbags and Fine Jewelry Merchandising Manager as part of our dynamic team in New York.

    This role requires a highly motivated individual with strong strategic thinking, relationship-building abilities and results driven mindset. A high level of collaboration is required with cross-functional teams to service boutique needs and client requests while simultaneously supporting new collection launches and reaching overall financial objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of delivering results, passion for client service, is relationship focused, and has experience in the luxury sector.

    How you will contribute:

    Strategy & Analytics

    • Develop and execute comprehensive business strategies to expand the Women’s Handbags and Find Jewelry businesses and supports with the high-end business, as well as MTO and Special orders, expansion.
    • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to refine business development strategies.
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal clients.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for High-end, MTO and Special orders product, ensuring meeting and exceeding product offer expectations.
    • Manage High-End model stock, partnering with visual merchandising, boutique leadership and sales associates to maintain boutique assortments from a visual perspective and ensure proper assortments to support market and client needs.
    • Lead the High-end, MTO and Special orders to achieve and exceed sales targets.
    • Determine, in partnership with Retail, specific sales targets by client advisors, action plan and weekly tracker to make sure we achieve and exceed the goals.
    • Create selling reports and provide historical recaps to analyze and communicate business performance.
    • Regularly analyze the High-end business to identify opportunities. Analyze sales by product segmentation and price point, implementing strategies to drive sales based on analysis.
    • Partner with local and global PR regarding all High-End product loans for events.
    • Develop seasonal sales plans and Open-to-Buy for High-end business.  
    • Collaborate with Milan to develop 3 dedicated collections per year, plus High-end product availability in the regular collections for everyday luxury.
    • Develop tailored assortments for US High-End events.
    • Weekly follow ups with the stores and Residence.
    • Special orders and MTO orders entry on timely manner and subsequent follow up to meet deadlines.

    Product Feedback & Training

    • Partner with various departments to create unique and personalized client experiences. 
    • Work closely with Customer Service, Milan, Operations to ensure accuracy on all High-End proformas prior to shipping internationally and on time delivery.
    • Train and inspire the sales team on high-end product, service and experience.
    • Support client advisors during High-end, MTO and Special Orders events.
    • Develop and execute high-end trunk shows.
    • Demonstrate agility and own processes related to client special orders to complete the clients purchase journey.
    • Ensure communication regarding product needs, sales trends, stock needs, general opportunities and all other relevant product information is shared with the Central Buying team in Milan to generate optimal high-end collection developments and MTO offer expansion.
    • Demonstrate passion for the product while maintaining empathy for the store staff/clientele.
    • Educate retail teams on High-end collections, and MTO and Special Orders by communicating merchandising strategies based on buy, selling points, and raise awareness of key features. 
    • Partner with CRM to analyze sales and client behaviors following High-end events and develop action plans to grow sales and ROI.
    • Collaborate across various departments on an as-needed basis (i.e. Retail and Retail Experience, Private Client Manager and Residence Manager, etc.).

    Who you are:

    • +4 years of previous merchandising/buying experience.
    • Capable to travel domestically and internationally approximately 3-4 weeks per quarter.
    • Ability to work in a team, possess organizational awareness and flexibility.
    • Demonstrate ability to adapt, strong knowledge of luxury market/products and philosophy of the brand.
    • Exemplary verbal and written communication skills.
    • Fundamental knowledge of the supply chain including planning, forecasting sales, inventory management and distribution.
    • Maintain a clear sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment by effectively prioritizing multiple projects.
    • Ability to deliver tight deadlines while being detail oriented.
    • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint as well as strong knowledge of retail math.

    Salary Range- New York:

    Base salary of $85,000 - $90,000 (plus discretionary bonus)
