About us
Cristóbal Balenciaga founded the House in 1917 in his home of Spain. In 1937, he established the brand in Paris, designing its collections there until 1968. Cristóbal Balenciaga had a reputation as a couturier of uncompromising standards and was referred to as "the master of us all" by Christian Dior and as “The Couturier of the Couturiers” by Gabrielle Chanel. The ultra-modern shapes were trademarks of the house.
While the brand’s identity is firmly rooted in its highly conceptual prêt-à-porter collections, its leather goods, footwear, and accessories experience worldwide success as well. Among the archetypal products of the House are its handbag collections. A new focus on the development of Balenciaga ready-to-wear collections for men was quickly established as highly successful.
Since October 2015, Demna has designed both men’s and women’s collections as the artistic director.
The Balenciaga House, part of the Kering group since 2001, is one of the most influential names in fashion.
We are currently seeking a Client Development Project Manager (fixed-term contract).
Your opportunity
You will join the the Client Development & VIC Department and will be in charge of developing the client Strategy, working closely with key departments (Data & Analytics, Insight Team, Direct Marketing, Training and Merchandising teams etc.)
How you will contribute
- In partnership with Data & Analytics, determine key client growth opportunity and partner with Retail Performance to set client sales targets
- Collaborate with the Insight team to ensure the retail activation and gifted clients are aligned with the global client vision and reflects the development strategy to grow clients from a segment to another
- Lead the 1:1 clienteling strategy in partnership with Direct Marketing team in defining the correct target with regions for Activation & Gifting, partnering with the regions to drive results
- Partner closely with training & merchandising to develop a rollout plan for all client development activations – ensuring accuracy, simplicity and adoption across retail including key stakeholders in the regions
- Work closely with Insight team and monitor with regions clusterization (through clienteling app) of clients to ensure a better targeting throughout various outreach and actions plans over the year
- Support regions as they define & implement local strategies, with a focus on key markets
- Perform monthly client performance review with region / market teams with a focus on driving actions & decision making
- Keep track on VIC to VIC KPI by flagging downgraded/sleeping/inactive VIC ensuring they are part of store tasks and ensuring attached SAs are assigned
- Coordinate regional budgets and HQ budgets to guarantee execution of in-store events and gifting
- Monitor results with the regions
- Feed the Client Development teams and local teams with dedicated insights
- Monitor dashboard needs and KPIs with insight teams based on client development team needs
- Lead regions, leverage synergies and assure user adoption of the different platforms in collaboration with the IT & Kering team
- R&D and benchmarck on potential new features and tech developments
- Work closely with Insight team to develop, roll out and monitor with the region dedicated VIC and Client development dashboards to create specific action plans
Who you are
- A professional with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Able to adapt quickly
- Excellent attention to detail and organization skills

- Fluent in French & English
