Cristóbal Balenciaga fondò la Maison nel 1917, nella sua terra natale, la Spagna. Nel 1937 portò il marchio a Parigi, dove disegnò le sue collezioni fino al 1968. Cristóbal Balenciaga era noto per la sua reputazione di stilista che non accettava compromessi di qualità ed era definito "il maestro di tutti noi" da Christian Dior, nonché lo “Stilista degli Stilisti” da Gabrielle Chanel. Le forme ultramoderne erano marchi di fabbrica dell’azienda. 

Pur essendo l'identità del marchio fortemente radicata nelle sue collezioni prêt-à-porter altamente concettuali, anche i suoi articoli di pelletteria, calzature e accessori riscuotono un successo mondiale. Tra i prodotti archetipici della Maison ci sono le sue collezioni di borse. Un nuovo sviluppo delle collezioni prêt-à-porter Balenciaga per uomo si è rapidamente affermato con grande successo. 

Dall'ottobre 2015 Demna Gvasalia disegna collezioni maschili e femminili in qualità di direttore artistico. 

La Maison Balenciaga è parte del gruppo Kering dal 2001 ed è uno dei nomi più influenti della moda.

A propos de nous

Cristóbal Balenciaga fonde sa Maison en 1917 dans son pays natal, l’Espagne. En 1937, il établit sa marque à Paris et y conçoit ses collections jusqu’en 1968. Cristóbal Balenciaga, en tant que Couturier, proposait une création exigeante et avait la réputation de ne faire aucun compromis ce qui lui valut d’être désigné par Christian Dior comme « le maître à tous » et comme « le couturier des couturiers » par Gabrielle Chanel. Les formes ultra-modernes sont devenues la signature de la Maison.

Si l’identité de la Maison est avant tout ancrée dans son prêt-à-porter conceptuel, ses collections de maroquinerie, chaussures et autres accessoires connaissent également un succès mondial. Les sacs de la Maison sont d’ailleurs devenus des icônes de la maroquinerie d’aujourd’hui. Lancées pour l’Été 2017, les collections prêt-à-porter Homme Balenciaga ont rapidement été couronnées de succès à l’international.

Depuis octobre 2015, Demna est directeur artistique et conçoit l’ensemble des collections de la Maison.

La Maison Balenciaga, qui appartient au Groupe Kering depuis 2001, est l’un des noms les plus influents du monde de la mode.

발렌시아가 하우스는 1917년 스페인 출신의 크리스토발 발렌시아가에 의해 설립되었습니다. 1937년 파리에 첫 부티크를 오픈한 이래 1968년까지 그 곳에서 컬렉션 디자인을 전개하였습니다. 당시 크리스토발 발렌시아가는 본인 만의 확고한 기준을 가진 쿠튀리어(디자이너)로서 명성을 떨쳤고, 크리스찬 디올은 "우리 모두의 달인"으로, 가브리엘 샤넬은 " 쿠튀리어 중의 쿠튀리어"로 그를 지칭했습니다. 초현대적인 옷의 형태는 하우스의 트레이드마크가 되었습니다.
브랜드의 정체성은 개념적인 프레타포르테 (기성복) 컬렉션에 확고히 뿌리를 내린 가운데, 가죽 제품, 신발, 액세서리 또한 전 세계적으로 큰 인기를 얻었습니다. 하우스의 전형적인 제품들 중에는 핸드백 컬렉션이 있으며, 남성 기성복 컬렉션 개발에 새로운 초점을 맞추면서 이 역시 빠르게 성공을 거두게 되었습니다.
2015년 10월 뎀나는 하우스의 아티스틱 디렉터로 임명되어 남녀 컬렉션을 모두 디자인하게 되었습니다.

Your opportunity The Visual Operations Coordinator ensure social media assets strategy is optimized through concept, definition of assets, release plan and delivery across social media channels. He works closely with the Brand Image Coordinator, the entire visual team as well as with the digital, media and marketing teams when relevant.How you will contribute <ul><li>Centralize information for various internal meetings including the communication/marketing and artistic direction meetings as well as support with the image committee meetings. Responsible for sending recaps to the visual team.</li><li>In charge of making brand presentations of visual projects for internal communication.</li><li>Communication with the Creative Coordination team to coordinate meetings with Artistic Director.</li><li>Provide support with budget forecasting, tracking to ensure the financial efficiency of the department.</li><li>Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop retro-planning and asset needs for social media projects from concept development to assets delivery and release.</li><li>Centralize and communicate information for social media projects steps across all departments, including asset counts, usages, deliverables and delivery deadlines.</li><li>Work closely with the marketing and digital team on release plan of social media projects.</li><li>Support the visual identity team to optimize social media projects for clientelling needs.</li><li>Prepare docs of assets for each season/project for internal tracking.</li><li>Responsible for the delivery of social media assets to cross-functional teams and externals.</li><li>Gather reports on social asset usage analytics to optimize future projects.</li><li>Tighten information process for archived projects. </li><li>Support the samples team to keep track of product visibility across visual projects.</li></ul>Who you are <ul><li>A professional with experience in team scheduling and management, with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders effectively, </li><li>A person with a strong understanding of visual concept direction, execution, photo retouching, and video editing. You’re able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>A professional highly organized with exceptional attention to detail. You’re also solution-oriented and open-minded with a creative approach to problem-solving.</li><li>An expert on social media platforms, english speaker with excellent communication skills. Cristóbal Balenciaga founded the House in 1917 in his home of Spain. In 1937, he established the brand in Paris, designing its collections there until 1968. Cristóbal Balenciaga had a reputation as a couturier of uncompromising standards and was referred to as "the master of us all" by Christian Dior and as “The Couturier of the Couturiers” by Gabrielle Chanel. The ultra-modern shapes were trademarks of the house.
While the brand’s identity is firmly rooted in its highly conceptual prêt-à-porter collections, its leather goods, footwear, and accessories experience worldwide success as well. Among the archetypal products of the House are its handbag collections. A new focus on the development of Balenciaga ready-to-wear collections for men was quickly established as highly successful. 
Since October 2015, Demna has designed both men’s and women’s collections as the artistic director.
The Balenciaga House, part of the Kering group since 2001, is one of the most influential names in fashion.
