MCQUEEN Tailor - Bond Street

We are looking for a Tailor for our store in London Bond Street.

The McQueen Tailor will work closely with the Operations Manager staying in line with Company policies and guidelines.

The Tailor will be able to take the initiative and successfully support to carry our fittings, take measurements and make alterations to ensure a perfect fit for clients. Also, McQueen Tailor will provide guidance to clients on style and fit.

How will you contribute?

•    Take full ownership of all tailoring activities, including alterations, repairs, custom fittings, and styling adjustments to meet client needs.
•    Collaborate closely with sales and client service teams to provide personalized and attentive tailoring services.
•    Interpret, construct, replicate, and deconstruct intricate garments with precision, ensuring the highest standards of craftsmanship.
•    Maintain and transmit the brand’s unique heritage and commitment to quality through your work.
•    Ensure all garments meet luxury standards in fit, finish, and presentation before returning to the client.
•    You will be able to demonstrate the desired McQueen behaviours.

Required Skills:
•    Extensive experience in ready-to-wear tailoring *for instance, outwear, suits, dresses and knitwear, preferably within the luxury fashion sector.
•    Exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanship with a deep understanding of garment construction.
•    Ability to understand and execute complex tailoring requests, adapting garments to the client’s specifications and vision. To be prepared to take the measurements on the shop floor. 
•    Strong interpersonal skills to engage with clients and internal teams professionally and courteously.
•    Be commercial and support sales team to achieve their sales target. 
•    Passion for luxury fashion and appreciation for brand heritage and craftsmanship.
•    Proactive, creative, and committed to delivering excellence in every task.
