We are currently seeking a Customs Operations Export Support who will report to the Customs Operations Export Coordinator as part of our dynamic team in Trecate.
Your opportunity
You will form an integral part of the Customs Operations Department within the Supply Chain and Logistics Business Unit, managing the Customs Operations procedures for importing and exporting goods. You will issue Customs Bills and verify the accompanying documentation. Moreover, you will check the compliant issuing of the outsourced Custom bills, proceeding also to the Customs Operations documentation archiving. This invigorating role will allow you to manage the Customs of our luxury brands.
How you will contribute
- Controlling, before Customs bills are issued, the correctness of the Customs relevant elements of the invoices.
- Performing the Customs bills issued on the software “Gulliver”, and transmitting them to the Italian Customs Agency
- Monitoring the proof of exit from the EU and the Global Guarantee for EU Transit
- Uploading the ‘Fascicolo elettronico’, in case of Customs control
- Updating in the software “Gulliver” the HS codes, Masterdata, and the exchange rate for foreign currency.
- Performing Custom instruction for import formalities for the external brokers
- Controlling the correctness of the outsourced Customs bills
- Archiving of the Custom bills and documents issued
Who you are
- A graduate in Economics, Political Science, Law or an equivalent subject
- Knowledge of EU and Italian Customs regulations, as well as familiarity with international agreements on the origin of goods, global CITES regulations, and international trade, is considered a plus
- A proactive team player
- An accurate professional with great attention to detail and strong sense of priorities
- Expert in using Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Knowledgeable of the software Gulliver as a plus
- Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken
