We are currently seeking an Assistant Trade Marketing Manager who will to the Head of Malaysia and be part of our dynamic team for the Malaysia market.
How you will contribute
Develop and implement local marketing activities, includes but not limited to POSM visibility projects through seamless co-ordination with regional team, sales team, clients and vendors; to ensure synchronization in campaign schedule and positioning.
Act as the main point of reference for the local and regional trade marketing teams in developing the local marketing plan based on market and channel needs, ensuring alignment with global and APAC marketing objectives and brand guidelines, with a primary focus on BTL activities.
Coordinate with customer service & logistics team to ensure POSM & product delivery are aligned with marketing plans
Monitor and track budgets on marketing spending to ensure spending in line with marketing objectives and planning
Prepare marketing / visibility report
Assist in local buying day events and work closely with sales team
Managing and coordinating with sales team and submit required document to CS team for stock availability of POSM by working within timeline
Lead and mentor a Trade Marketing Executive
Track competition and generate performance reports with actionable insights
Who you are
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or relevant field
+4 years of experience in trade marketing, preferably but not necessarily in cosmetics/ fashion/ luxury industry
Proficient in analysis and reporting - Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
Good communication, problem-solving skills & organizational skills
Self-motivated, attention to details with a strong sense of responsibility
Proven ability to lead and develop team members
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Fluent in English
