Your opportunity
This position is in the shared services team and leading a sizable team for daily accounting functions for multiple retail brands in the Hong Kong and Macau markets.
How you will contribute
- Manage the transactional accounting team in handling R2R and O2C for multi brands
- Oversee and responsible for month end closing in the shared services team, with timely and accurate accounting records
- Review the work prepared by teammates. Prepare breakdown, reports or ad hoc analysis
- Develop and strengthen the team to continuously improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Take an active role in monitoring and ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements and internal control procedures
- Liaise with auditors and other external parties
- Coordinate with other departments and brands
- Perform ad hoc duties as required
Who you are
- Flexible, able to handle multi-tasks with different stakeholders in matrix environments
- Good leadership and effective communication skill, well organized with can-do attitude
- Fast and Efficient, able to meet tight deadlines
- Qualified Accountant with Bachelor Degree in accounting or finance or equivalent is preferred
- Minimum 10 years’ relevant accounting and team management experience in MNC/retail/FMCG industry with managerial experience
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
- Proficient in MS Office, experience in SAP and Hyperion is highly preferred
