This role leads financial planning and analysis for Bottega Veneta Korea’s Retail business, the core driver of our operations in Korea. As Korea plays a pivotal role in APAC growth, this is a unique opportunity for a finance professional passionate about retail FP&A to make a strategic impact.
Financial Planning and Analysis
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process for the Retail business.
- Analyze financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and support business decision to achieve financial targets.
- Collaborate with the Business Planning Manager to propose realistic sales targets to HQ finance.
- Monitor key retail KPIs (e.g., sales density, productivity) and drive initiatives to enhance store profitability.
- Conduct P&L analysis for pop-up events and coordinate with Retail and Architecture teams to ensure profitability and get approvals from HQ finance.
- Lead investment approval process (EVA: measurement of financial performance) of store projects.
Monthly Closing
- Closely communicate with Kering Korea SSC to ensure the store related expenses are posted to appropriate cost centers and GL accounts.
- Share detailed monthly financial performance insights with the Retail Director, identifying cost-saving and investment opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver monthly reporting deck that analyze financial performance of retail business to senior management (CEO, regional CFO and country finance head) for timely decision making.
- Submit Management Reporting Package (MRP) in HFM for store PL.
- Review and update the shopping bag cost estimation logic periodically.
- Be a key contact person in communicating with HQ finance retail controlling team.
- In charge of annual Environmental Reporting Campaign for Bottega Veneta Korea.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting or related field
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in FP&A within a retail or consumer-facing industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with HFM is a plus.
