Jean-Marc Duplaix

Biography

Jean-Marc Duplaix began his career in 1994 at Arthur Andersen, where he spent ten years providing audit and financial consulting services to CAC 40-listed industrial groups. In 2005, he became Deputy Administrative and Financial Director of the M6 Group. He was also president of Multi 4, a broadcasting operator for DTT channels, and a board member of French professional football club, FC Girondins de Bordeaux.

Jean-Marc Duplaix served as Kering CFO from 2012 to 2023, supporting the Group's development and the sustainable growth of its Houses, while ensuring optimal financial practice. He was also a board member of Puma until 2019.

In September 2023, Jean-Marc Duplaix was appointed Deputy CEO, in charge of Operations and Finance. He will head all Group corporate functions and be responsible for enhancing efficiency and accountability.

As of September 2025, in line with the Group’s governance evolution, he continues to serve as Group Chief Operating Officer of Kering, supporting Luca de Meo in both the development of the Group and the management of its organization.

A French national, Jean-Marc Duplaix is a graduate of HEC Business School and holds an advanced degree in accounting and finance (DESCF).
